Blood clots and DVT - understanding your risk

Your risk of blood clots and deep vein thrombosis (DVT) after being sent home from the Emergency Department or Urgent Care Centre with a lower limb plaster cast, splint or walker boot.

Hepatitis testing in the Emergency Department (A&E)

A hepatitis test is offered to all people who need a blood test in the Emergency Department, as many people do not realise they have been at risk for hepatitis infection.
