MedTap is a free information app, developed by our cardiovascular team. It offers a wide range of information with short, informative videos on conditions and medicines. You can:

  • watch videos on topics such as heart attacks, atrial fibrillation, and heart failure
  • get answers to common medicine questions – when and how to take your pills, what to do when you have a side effect, how to reorder more pills
  • watch dermatology videos
  • access information from Asthma UK and the British Lung Foundation
  • record your medicines using the dedicated list function
  • 'favourite' videos that are important to you, making it easy to find and watch them again
  • set an alarm to sound at the time you need to take your medicine
  • document your allergies

Confidentiality

MedTap doesn't share any personal information. Medicine, appointments, and test results recorded through the app are only available to you. If you delete the app, then any information you have recorded will also be deleted.
