Bravo! Gavin triumphs at Paris marathon

Congratulations to our hospitality manager Gavin Tiffin, who dashed to the finishing line of the Paris marathon in 3 hours 52 minutes on Sunday 7 April.

Gavin said: “It was a great run with 50,000 people. A nice sunny day - even got a bit of sun on the head!”

Gavin is cycling 280 miles from London to Paris and running 4 marathons across Europe to raise money for specialist equipment.

Every penny raised by Gavin will go towards funding a tandem mass spectrometer that allows experts to accurately measure molecules in the blood in one single test and detect specific disorders in newborns such as phenylketonuria (PKU).

Next stop is the Vienna marathon on Sunday 14 April.  Help Gavin raise money for newborns at The Evelina Children’s Hospital.
