Staff give the Trust a thumbs up in Staff Friends and Family Test

Staff have recommended Guy’s and St Thomas’ as a place to be treated and as a place to work in the latest Staff Friends and Family Test.
A total of 1,276 staff completed the last Test, which was carried out in June. The national results were published today, Thursday 24 August, by NHS England.
The Staff Friends and Family Test is a short national survey which enables staff to give feedback about their experience of the NHS. Guy’s and St Thomas’ scored much higher than the national average:
- 93% of staff said they are ‘likely’ or ‘very likely’ to recommend the Trust as a place to be treated – higher than the national average of 81%
- 77% are ‘likely’ or ‘very likely’ to recommend the Trust as a place to work – higher than the national average of 64%
Julie Screaton, Director of Workforce, says: “I am pleased to see that our staff continue to recommend Guy’s and St Thomas’ as a place to work and as a place to be treated. The Staff Friends and Family Test is an important snapshot of how our staff feel about working here and the services the Trust provides."
