Strike action update

Strike action is taking place in June and July 2024.

The British Medical Association has announced that industrial action by junior doctors is planned to take place from 7am on Thursday 27 June until 7am on Tuesday 2 July. 

The strike action will affect services across all of our hospitals and community sites.

To keep patients safe during the industrial action we may need to postpone some appointments and procedures.

We'll contact you directly if your care or your child's care is affected to rearrange your appointment as quickly as possible.

We understand the distress this may cause and we are sorry if you or your family are affected.

Disruption to our pathology services

We're still experiencing disruption to some of our services due to a cyber attack carried out on our pathology service provider, Synnovis. 

Please continue to attend appointments as normal unless you hear from us.
