Antonio D’Alessio
Consultant medical oncologist, Honorary senior lecturer
Biography
Antonio D’Alessio is a Consultant Medical Oncologist specialising in hepatobiliary cancers, with a focus on hepatocellular carcinoma. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King's College London.
He trained in Medical Oncology in Italy and the UK and completed a PhD at Imperial College London investigating biomarkers of response to immunotherapy in liver cancer.
He has an active international role in translational research and clinical trials and has published research in leading medical journals.
His work has been recognised with awards from major scientific societies, including Cancer Research UK, the European Society for the Study of the Liver (EASL) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
