Deborah Enting

Consultant medical oncologist

Biography

Deborah Enting has been a consultant in medical oncology at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust since 2017. She specialises in the treatment of urological cancers and the systemic treatment (chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies) for urothelial, prostate, kidney and testicular cancers.

Deborah is also the clinical lead for systemic anti-cancer therapies at Guy's and St Thomas' and the South East London Cancer Alliance.

She is fluent in English and Dutch.

Education and training

Deborah completed her medical training at the University of Groningen in The Netherlands. She trained in medical oncology at Guy's and St Thomas' and St George's Hospital.

Research interests

Deborah was a research fellow at the department of immunobiology at King's College London. She works on tumour immune surveillance and bladder cancer research as part of the Translational Oncology Urology Research (TOUR) group at King's College London.

She is national lead on several clinical trials including the IRONMAN study, the international registry for men with prostate cancer.
