Deborah Ruddy
Consultant clinical geneticist
Biography
Deborah has been a consultant clinical geneticist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust since 2007. She has been the head of the genetics service since 2017.
She runs clinics for patients with:
- Huntington's Disease
- von Hippel Lindau disease
- inherited psychiatric disorders
Education and training
- PhD on the genetics of familial motor neurone disease, 2003
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians, 1999
- Medicine and surgery (MBBS), University of London, 1995
- BSc in molecular genetics, 1994

- New agents to treat Huntington's Disease
