Biography
Halkawt Nuri is a qualified congenital cardiac surgeon, having completed a seven year residency in cardiac surgery in Italy and a two year clinical fellowships training in congenital cardiac surgery in the United States. He has been a consultant surgeon since 2017.
He has been performing different varieties of congenital cardiac procedures, including palliative and corrective procedures from neonates to adults with congenital heart disease.
Since the early years of his training until now, he has always been involved in the management of adult patients with congenital heart defects. In the last few years, he as performed all different surgical procedures in adult patients, including primary repair or redo surgeries.
