Consultant cardiologist
Biography
Laura-Ann McGill has been a consultant cardiologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust since 2019.
Before joining us Laura-Ann spent a year as a locum consultant in the heart failure unit at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She also jointly ran a cardiorenal clinic, designed to manage complex patients with combined kidney and heart failure.
Laura-Ann has extensive teaching experience and has supervised junior doctors and students. She is a member of the Royal Society of Medicine cardiology council and is jointly responsible for delivering the heart failure section teaching programme.
She has also been a successful triathlete, competing as part of the Great Britain triathlon squad in international competitions.
