Biography
Padma Menon has been a consultant with Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust since June 2003.
The Trust is the main hub for referral of gynaecological oncology cases being part of South East London Cancer Network (SELCN). Guy’s Hospital is also the referral centre for symptomatic and screening breast cancer resections.
Padma has been regularly involved with reporting of in-house and referral cases from wider South East London Cancer Network (SELCN), to facilitate patient flows in gynaecological and breast cancer pathways. Her interest in cytopathology also involves facilitating fine needle aspiration biopsies (FNAs) of palpable lumps.
Padma regularly participates in internal and external quality assurance schemes for diagnostic reporting. She is the clinical lead for cervical cytology services.
