Robin Dart
Consultant gastroenterologist
Biography
Robin Dart is a consultant gastroenterologist and clinician scientist. He graduated in medicine from Edinburgh University, undertaking clinical and academic training in Edinburgh and London.
He is a committee member of the young European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation where he works to improve understanding and outcomes for people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

Research interests
- Mucosal immunology
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease
- Gammadelta T cells
He is active in research in both basic immunology of the human intestine and translational immunology aiming to use the immune system to understand responses to IBD therapy.
