Andrology
We provide care and treatment for men's health problems, including
- male infertility
- sexual dysfunction
- genito-urinary reconstruction
We offer specialist services for people in south east London. We are also a national referral centre.
Our andrology service is one of the largest in London. We provide:
- penile prosthesis surgery
- genital reconstruction, including skin grafting
- surgery to repair the urethra (the tube that carries urine outside of the body from the bladder). This includes urethroplasty and hypospadias surgery
- procedures for complex Peyronie's disease
- fertility preservation for men with cancer
- microsurgical procedures for male factor infertility
Our service includes outpatient clinics, day surgery and inpatient facilities. We also run specialist clinics for:
- penile rehabilitation
- erectile dysfunction (impotence)
- urethroplasty, complex andrology, sickle cell disease and Klinefelter syndrome
- infertility, jointly with the assisted conception unit (ACU)
Our team includes:

- a specialist nurse
- an andrology and reconstructive surgery fellow
- a specialist registrar

Research and clinical trials
