At this clinic we see people who have heart murmurs detected by a stethoscope examination. We'll:

  • assess your symptoms
  • carry out an echocardiogram
  • listen to your heart using a stethoscope

If a valve lesion is discovered you'll be referred to our valve service.

The clinic is linked with the consultant, nurse and physiologist-led valve clinics.

We provide specialist care and advice for people with endocarditis across the south of England. We'll see you 1 month, 3 months and then either 6 months or 1 year after your endocarditis event.

At this clinic we monitor native and prosthetic valve disease using an echocardiogram.

At this clinic we'll see you if you're being considered for transcatheter (keyhole) treatment of your heart valve. You'll see one of our consultants.

If you have already received treatment, your follow up consultation in this clinic will be with one of our clinical nurse specialists.

We see people with severe or complex valve disease. We will assess your condition to make sure you get treatment at the right time. We work with the haematology, heart surgery, structural valve and dental services.
