Mouth (oral) surgery
Our mouth surgery service provides care if you have complex jaw problems or teeth removed by surgery.
We offer treatments for:
- erupted teeth and retained roots
- impacted and ectopic teeth, including wisdom teeth
- dental and jaw cysts
- swellings of the mouth, jaws, neck and salivary glands
- suspected cancer of the mouth, jaws and salivary glands
- necrosis of the bone and jaw
- salivary gland disorders
- jaw joint disorders that have not responded to initial therapy
- dental implants (if eligible on the NHS) needing complex extra procedures such as bone grafting
We're involved in running specialist clinics for:
- head and neck cancer
- temporomandibular disorder (TMD) conditions
- dental implants
- surgical orthodontics
- jaw (orthognathic) surgery
