Research and clinical trials
We're part of an active research programme. Our research aims to better understand oral dermatology conditions and improve diagnosis and treatment. Recent studies have led to improvements in care for people with complex lichen planus.
Research is vital to improving the care that you receive when you're unwell. You can help improve healthcare by taking part in research studies at our Trust. During your appointment, ask your healthcare professional about research. They'll be happy to tell you about research studies you could be eligible to join.
The Guy's and St Thomas' Charity and Bernice Bibby Research Trust funds some of our research.
