Your appointment may be:

• face-to-face at your home
• by telephone
• by video

We'll try to give you the type of appointment you prefer.

How to get an appointment

You can ask your GP or other health professional to refer you.

You can also refer yourself for an appointment.

Changing or cancelling your appointment

Phone us to change or cancel your appointment.

Before your appointment

We'll contact you to book an appointment and explain the appointment process.

During your appointment

If your appointment is at your home, we'll introduce ourselves to you and show you our ID. We may bring someone else who also cares for you, such as a community therapist.

We're a teaching hospital and sometimes we'll ask if students can watch your appointment. It will not affect your care if you prefer not to have them there.

After your appointment

We'll give you any information you need after your appointment. Please contact us if you have any questions or problems.
