Wards

If you need to stay overnight before or after surgery, you'll stay on one of our specialist orthopaedic wards:

Questionnaires to improve our service

We might ask you to take part in our clinical outcomes programme. This helps us improve our service and offer the best treatments.

We ask you to fill in extra questionnaires about your health and quality of life, before and after your treatment. These are called patient reported outcome measures (PROMs). Your feedback helps us measure the outcome of your treatment at different times. We encourage you to take part, however if you do not want to, it will not affect your care.

Research and clinical trials

Research is vital to improving the care that you receive when you're unwell. You can help improve healthcare by taking part in research studies at our Trust. During your appointment, ask your healthcare professional about research. They'll be happy to tell you about research studies you could be eligible to join.
