  • details of other current and past medical issues including details of previous treatments

Please tell us if you need an interpreter.

You can bring a friend, partner or relative to your appointment.

During your appointment

You or your child will see our team of specialists.

Your appointment will usually be face-to-face.

Your first appointment will usually last 1 to 2 hours.

You may have:

  • medical photographs taken of your skin
  • simple imaging tests such as:
  • a skin biopsy of the affected area
  • blood tests including genetic testing
  • a pre-assessment for treatments such as sclerotherapy

After your appointment

We will send a letter and treatment plan to you, your GP and other referring health professionals if appropriate. If you do not want to receive a copy of your letter, please let us know.

We may arrange scans, such as CT and MRI. You may need treatment, such as sclerotherapy, to treat the vascular anomaly.

If you have any further concerns about your care, please email us at [email protected].

If you have signed up to MyChart, you'll be able to get your results, clinic letters and any future appointment details on the app.
