Help shape the future of patient care at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, including the care delivered at Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals, which is now part of the Trust.

As a Foundation Trust, we are accountable to patients and members of the public. We want people who are interested in the Trust and what we do to become actively involved in our plans.

We are guided by our values in everything that we do, putting patients first, taking pride in what we do, respecting others, striving to be the best, and acting with integrity.

There are two vital groups at the heart of our organisation which are:

Our members

Our members contribute to the organisation on a voluntary basis. We count on them for feedback, local knowledge and support.

Our patients and their carers, members of the public and staff can all become members.

Our governors

The governors, with the support of our members, ensure our work is in keeping with our values, meeting the needs of our local citizens and supporting all who use our services to make us a successful Foundation Trust.

Members elect patient, public and staff representatives to the Council of Governors so their voice is heard.

Members can become even more involved by standing for election as governors and representing their fellow members' views on the Council of Governors.

On 1 February 2021, Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals became part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.

By becoming a member you will be able to influence the future of patient care, including how we improve and shape our heart and lung services as part of the enlarged Trust.
