Divaka Perera
Consultant cardiologist and professor of interventional cardiology
Biography
Divaka Perera has been a consultant cardiologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust since 2008.
He was promoted to reader in interventional cardiology in 2013 and to professor of cardiology at King's College London in 2017.
He teaches undergraduate medical students and supervises postgraduate researchers completing MSc, MD and PhD degrees at King's College London.

- Reduced blood supply to the heart muscle in chronic coronary artery disease, acute myocardial infarction and valve disease
