Overview
Colorectal unit
We are a centre of excellence for treating colorectal (colon and rectum) conditions. This includes:
- inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
- bowel and anal cancer
- pelvic floor conditions
- benign anorectal (bottom and rectum) problems
We offer services including:
- bowel cancer surgery
- anal cancer surgery
- pelvic floor assessment and treatment
- stoma care
Our team includes doctors, surgeons, nurses and other health professionals. They work closely with other teams, including medical gastroenterology and colorectal surgery.

We work with King's College London and London Southbank University to:
- research colorectal disease
- educate future health professionals
