Consultant and professor of intensive care medicine

Biography

Luigi Camporota completed his medical degree in Italy. He then trained in medicine and intensive care in the UK.

He is a consultant in critical care at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust where he leads the severe respiratory failure and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) service and professor of intensive care medicine.

  • advanced mechanical ventilation
  • haemodynamic monitoring
  • respiratory monitoring
  • extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO)
