Before your appointment

Make sure you know which hospital you need to go to for your appointment.

Please bring with you any:

  • medicines you're taking
  • relevant medical history

During your appointment

Your first appointment will last between 45 minutes and an hour. Follow-up appointments will last between 15 and 30 minutes.

We'll discuss your foot condition with you and give you a treatment plan if you need it.

As this is a teaching hospital, we might involve students (supervised by qualified staff) in your care. It's valuable training for students and does not affect the quality of your treatment in any way. Please tell us if you don't want them to be present or involved. We'll always respect your wishes.

After your appointment

We'll let you know if you need a follow-up appointment and what to do next.

We'll let the person who referred you know the result of the appointment.
