Getting to appointments at Guy’s Hospital
We’re having issues with some of the lifts in Tower Wing at Guy’s Hospital.
If your appointment is in Tower Wing, please allow an extra 15 minutes to get there, as you may need to queue for a lift.

Opening times: alternate weeks
We offer care and management of cystinuria. The clinic brings together a range of healthcare professionals who may be involved in your care, including:
- urology consultants
- kidney consultants
- dietitians
- specialist nurses
You may also see a radiology consultant or a sonographer (a specialist in ultrasound examinations).
Your appointment can last up to 3 hours, depending on the number of tests you need.
Most people that attend the clinic will be asked to provide a urine sample.
You may also need some other tests, including:
- blood pressure, temperature, pulse, height and weight
- ultrasound
- blood tests
- X-ray
- CT scan
This clinic is by appointment only and is consultant led.
