Before your appointment
Please bring:
- a list of medicines you take
- your ventilator or other breathing equipment
If you need hospital transport, please phone:

- 020 8202 5160 for appointments at the Lane Fox Remeo respiratory centre at East Surrey Hospital

During your appointment
You may see many different members of the team during your appointment.
For information about what will happen during your appointment, please see our clinics page.
We're a teaching hospital. Students and doctors in training may be present. Please let us know if you do not want them at your appointment.
After your appointment
We'll send a letter to your GP and send a copy to you. We'll arrange a follow-up appointment or admission and send you the details.
If you have started or are using a breathing support machine, we'll give you a contact card for the unit. This includes details of how to access 24-hour nursing, technical and medical support.
If we've recommended that you use a home oxygen monitor on your finger at night, we'll contact you before posting it.
