- women and children’s
- mind and body
Through Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals, we also work closely with Imperial College London.
Health innovation
We host south London’s Heath Innovation Network, one of 15 national Academic Health Science Networks. These networks connect NHS and academic organisations, local authorities, the third sector and industry, aiming to increase the spread and adoption of innovation across large populations. Through Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals, we're also part of Imperial College Health Partners Academic Health Science Network.
Gene research
We lead the South London Genomic Medicine Centre. This is responsible for the delivery of the 100,000 Genomes Project across South London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex, as well as the transformation of genomic medicine services.
Research
Research is vital to improving the care that we all receive when we're unwell.
Our researchers work to improve patient care and develop new and better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat diseases.
