Becoming part of our family

We care about our staff, even when they leave. If you stop working for us, you can keep in touch with your colleagues by joining the Veterans.

Why become a Veteran?

We keep you up to date with what is happening in the Trust, including via Veterans newsletters and we meet every year for our AGM and lunch.

We have a benevolent fund that can assist members in difficulty and we send flowers if we know members are unwell.

Who can become a Veteran?

You don’t have to retire to become a Veteran. Membership is open to all staff who have worked at Guy’s and St Thomas’ who leave after 10 years of service. This includes people who have been involved in professional training or teaching in a university college or school associated with the Trust. Membership is also open to staff of Guy's and St Thomas' Charity.

How do I become a Veteran?

Membership costs just £10 per year.
