Coronavirus: gastroenterology and hepatology update

In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, please read our advice and information before attending the service.


Clinics are held at different locations at our hospitals and run from 9am-12 noon and 1.30-5pm. Please check which clinic you are due at before coming to your appointment.

General gastroenterology clinic

For general gastrointestinal disorders

When: Monday to Friday

Location: Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital

Oesophageal clinic

For oesophageal disorders and precancerous conditions.

When: Mondays, Thursday mornings

Location: St Thomas' Hospital

Hepatology and pancreatobiliary clinic

When: Wednesday mornings (Guy's Hospital), Thursday afternoons (St Thomas' Hospital)

Location: Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital

Nutrition clinic

For enteral and parenteral nutrition, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) tube feeding

When: Friday mornings

Location: Gassiot House, St Thomas'

Coeliac disease clinic

Led by: Dr Ikram Nasr

When: Fridays

Location: St Thomas' Hospital

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) clinic

When: Monday mornings, Tuesday mornings, Thursday afternoons and Friday afternoons
